Indulge Tonight in a Leap Year Cocktail

Tale has it that the Leap Year cocktail originated at the Savoy Hotel on February 29, 1928 in London.  It is a cocktail that offers a sweet taste with a slight bit of bitterness.  Enjoy it tonight and toast the extra day this year!  Happy Leap Year everyone.

Ingredients are:
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash fresh lemon juice

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice.  Shake it well for 10 seconds and strain it into a chilled cocktail glass.  Garnish the glass with a twist of lemon peel.
