Summer is in full swing, so get out and enjoy the beautiful weekends with your family and friends. Here are a couple of easy outdoor entertaining tips that will impress your guests.

Pick up slate tiles in great colors at your local Home Improvement store.  They can be used as great cost effective cheese boards.

Pick up a simple flower box, spray paint it a festive color to match your theme or mood, plug drainage holes if any, fill with ice and your favorite white wine.  Check out this Flared Wooden Window Box.   I love serving trays in woods and colors.  Use your serving tray as a cutting board or to showcase desserts.  Simple.
