Serve Grown up "Float's" this Weekend

I love foodnetwork Magazine and can always count on finding a great recipe or entertaining idea to try.
What do you think of these easy and delicious "Grown Up Floats" to share with your family and friends this weekend?

Strawberry Prosecco Float
Chef Anne Burrell's from the foodnetwork shared this recipe and it is perfect for the warm weather months.  Delicious and refreshing:)

Makes 4 servings
1 pint quartered strawberries,  1 tablespoon sugar, 1 pint of your favorite vanilla ice cream, 1 750-ml bottle of your Prosecco chilled

Toss the strawberries and sugar in a medium bowl and let it sit 30 minutes.  Divide the strawberries among 4 wine glasses; put 1 scoop of ice cream .  Fill with Prosecco  and toast the weekend.

Grown Up Root Beer Float

Makes 1 Serving
1 orange, 2 ounces bourbon, 2 dashes orange bitters, 3/4 cup root beer, 1 ounce heavy cream

Using a vegetable peeler, remove a long piece of zest from the orange.
Combine the bourbon and bitters in a tall glass.  Twist the orange zest over the glass to release the oils, then drop it in the glass.
Fill the glass halfway with ice and add the root beer.
Slowly pour the cream over the back of a spoon into the glass so it floats on top.
