Slow Cook Your Spuds

Recipe & Photos by Addapinch.com

Looking for an easy way to make baked potatoes?  Look no further! Grab your slow cooker and with the following, you will have baked potatoes that are tender and fluffy with no fuss. Set up your toppings as a baked potato bar and have everyone serve themselves toppings of their choice.
How about sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon diced finely, cooked broccoli, chili and never forget the butter.

Makes 4 servings:  4 well scrubbed baking potatoes, 1 tablespoon extra virgin oil, kosher salt for taste, and 4 sheets aluminum foil
Directions:
Prick the potatoes several times with a fork.  Rub the potato skins with olive oil, salt and wrap tightly in foil.  Place the potatoes in a slow cooker and cover.  Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours or until tender.
