A Log Office

Are you familiar with Cabin Life Magazine? I look forward to every issue and read it from cover to cover.  It's full of awesome ideas for cabin, cottage and lake house living. We love furnishings and ideas that come from logs and this log structure in the March 2013 issue got my attention.

This was actually built for Dutch musician Hans Liberg who commissioned architect Piet Hein Eek to design a small retreat for him. This particular building is a study on wheels and when all closed up it looks like a log pile. It could be used as an office, study, shed or a getaway for your thoughts.

I need a new office for writing and is #1 on my wish list!  Do you have any unique ideas for log building?

Happy Weekend and Thanks for stopping by!
