My New Obsession

Chalkboards are everywhere...Chalkboard tags, chalkboard paint, etc. Though they have been in our classrooms for years, they are now suddenly popping up in our homes and offices. Pinterest has great ideas like chalkboard calendars, kitchen canisters, painting children's dresser drawers, organizers for your office or children's playroom. One of my favorite ideas are the chalkboard wine glasses so you can write names of the guests on the glass..so clever & different!  The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination and run with it.

My daughter gave us gifts for Christmas this year using chalkboard tags bearing each of our names and I fell in love with the idea!  I was researching chalkboard paint classes on line recently when I found these amazing peel & stick chalkboard panels. They come in a package of  4 panels which are removable and easy to reposition.  They are perfect for my office wall because it lets me update my schedule and blog posts every week as well as scratch down creative ideas.  I bought an extra package to take to the lake house and plan on using it as a menu board in the kitchen to let our guests know what's cooking for the day.
