Guest Room Tray

Use trays, jars or baskets for welcoming family & friends!

The countdown to the holidays have officially begun and many of us will be hosting overnight family and friends in our homes.  

Your guests are sure to love small touches that make them feel welcome and right at home.   They don't want to bother you for towels, Kleenex, toilet paper,  etc.  Place all of these items along with small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion on a bedside table before they arrive.  Perhaps a bottled water and a granola bar or fine chocolate for a midnight snack?  A vase with fresh flowers always says "we're glad you are here". Relax and enjoy.

A Nice Touch for your Guests

If space allows in your guest overnight area, provide a cart with special touches that say "Welcome" to your guests.  Baskets containing midnight snacks of granola bars, crackers, pretzels, oranges, apples and bananas and don't forget some miniature chocolate bars for that midnight craving.    

My favorite bottled water is Ice Mountain a 100% natural spring water.  Provide chilled individual bottles.  My sparkling water of choice is San Pellegrino.When you stay at hotels, bring home extra small shampoos, conditioners, lotions, mouthwashes and body washes.  Place in a nice basket or mason jar for guests to use during their stay with you.  Just the right size for weekend stays.

Check out packaged facial cleansing wipes like Simple for cleansing facial wipes that are kind to all kinds of skin and removes even waterproof makeup.  Package is resealable and wipes are disposable for easy use.  

Give guests their own guest towels for use during their stay with you. Fresh cut flowers in a pretty vase top off your welcome cart as a beautiful touch. So many to choose from now that Spring has finally arrived.
