When my husband and I were in Islamorada Florida last Fall, our Inn had bikes for guests to use to explore the beautiful landscape. We loved the exercise and the opportunity to explore the small shops, restaurants and coffee shops in the area. These are truly the gems of the island. It gave me food for thought for our lake house. We enjoy our walks to and from the lake, and using the golf cart is always fun. Adding bikes to the mix is in my plan for this year. I'm keeping close watch on garage sales in the area. I love vintage so give me a nice Schwinn any day! Reminds me of my own childhood.
