Why travel to the game when you can "Homegate"?
A big screen television with a great sound system will make your house the place to be for this weekends games.
Seating, whether it's rugs, floor pillows, bean bag chairs is important.
Awesome food (this is key!). Along with your favorite craft beers. A fun idea is have a beer sampling area.
Here are some fun ideas I've made in the past that are perfect for game day and most of them you can do ahead of time.

When I'm serving a crowd, I love shortcuts that don't have me in the kitchen for hours. I toss a ground beef and ground turkey blend into a large bowl, add minced onions, a little garlic salt, salt and pepper and mix with my hands. Pat the mixture into a 13 x 9 pan sprayed lightly with cooking spray and bake in a preheated 350 oven until cooked to your desire. I bake mine for 30-40 minutes. When finished baking, cut into small squares and place them onto "slider buns" topped with a small pickle slice. |

Who doesn't love chocolate cupcakes? |

A Make Your Own Taco Bar. I like this idea because you can make your taco meat and chop up your toppings the day before, stick in the fridge until you are ready to heat the meat and serve. Allows you time to enjoy your guests.
Serve up ice cold craft beers, wine or sangria. Or make up an area for beer sampling trays with the latest seasonals. |
