We love to end our days gathered around the fire pit for some conversation armed with our sticks, graham crackers and fillings for s'mores! Besides your basic marshmallow and Hershey chocolate with graham crackers, have you ever tried these fun fillings?
Chocolate peanut butter cups
Peanut butter with banana slices
Ice cream toppings
Chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella is delicious!)
.....even
peanut butter and jelly works!
No fire pit? Assemble your s'more and bake in a foil lined pan at 300 for about 5-6 minutes. So easy!! And you can enjoy this gooey delight all year long, rain or shine!
Note: The first s'mores recipe in the 1927 Girl Scouts handbook was all about the campfire's crackle!
