A Little Background...

We have been a weekend lake family since 1997 when we purchased our A-frame in the north woods.  Our home came with a boat slip. At the time,  we knew nothing about boating or lake life.  So we have learned a lot along the way!  We bought a boat and now enjoy the pleasures our lake has to offer with our expanding family and friends. Over the years of overnight weekend guests, I have tried to find easy and time saving ways to make our guests comfortable and yet have time to enjoy myself and not be a slave to the kitchen or house.  It's easier to accomplish if you already enjoy spending time in your kitchen and home.  Doesn't hurt to have a touch of organization skills!  I always find myself making lists for the next visit or two while still at the lake house.  I hope you enjoy my blog and I would love to hear any useful tips from you too!
