Macaroni and Cheese Slow Cooker Style

Everybody has a comfort food that reminds them of growing up and cozy days at home.  Mine is macaroni and cheese.  This recipe makes 6 servings and takes just 10 minutes to throw together in the slow cooker so it's super simple and delicious.  

Ingredients:  1/2 pound elbow macaroni, 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk, 1 1/2 cups milk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:  Coat the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.  In a large bowl, beat eggs with the fresh and evaporated milk.  Mix in uncooked macaroni and 3 cups of the shredded cheese.  Transfer to your slow cooker and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.  Don't stir or remove lid while cooking.

Enjoy and cozy up with your favorite blanket (or glass of wine!) Better yet....both!:)
