Coffee & Frangelico for the Holidays

The holidays are here and your friends and loved ones are gathered together.  Here's a favorite drink of mine I like to serve when I am entertaining over the holidays and on special occasions.   I found  this recipe on marthastewartliving. and it requires just 4 ingredients and a few hours of time for freezing.

Makes 4 servings:)

4 cups strongly brewed chilled coffee ( I used 5 tablespoons of ground coffee for a stronger flavor)
1 cup Frangelico hazelnut liqueur
2/3 cup heavy cream
4 - 6 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Stir 4 cups strongly brewed chilled coffee and 1 cup frangelico in a medium bowl.  Transfer to freezer until slushy but slightly frozen, about 5 hours, stirring once or twice.

Whisk heavy cream in a medium bowl until soft peaks form.  Add pure maple syrup and whisk until soft peaks return.

Divide coffee mixture among 4 large glasses, top with whipped cream.

Your family and friends will want to make this their new holiday favorite!
